Happy morning! Today, we are up and at it extra extra early to take part in Christmas Home Tours hosted by Marty of A Stroll Thru Life.
If you are hopping over from Snazzy Little Things, welcome! Let’s begin Day 2 of the Christmas tours.
I’ve enjoyed taking part in Marty’s home tours before and this year is extra special because you are getting a tiny peek at our kitchen renovation that we have been working on this fall. Reveal coming after the holidays
So, today you will see some new spaces in our home that I have had the energy to decorate along with some of my favorite shots from our living room. Enjoy!
Our entry way I like to change-up every year…
I’ve stored some gift wrap in our umbrella holder and our entry way desk has become a spot to store more gifts. Gift boxes are one of my favorite ways to decorate for the season and it’s so practical because you will be giving them to your loved ones each year. You don’t just have to place them under the tree. It’s instant decor.
I love life in my decor and this year I opted to just stay simple with a potted poinsettia. Poinsettias are great because you can get a decent sized one for cheap. I snagged this one at the Home Depot for $5.98.
I love that our mirror gives you a little peek at what’s around the corner in our living room.

On our coat closet door I hung a jingle bell kissing ball I made…
Our living room is the room I focus on the most for our Christmas decor.
It’s where we spend Christmas morning with our kids and the place we entertain the most when friends and family stop by.
That tortoise Pottery Barn candle I love was spent, so I am using it as a vessel to hold some jingle bells. Another golden holiday touch.
I love to mix fresh cedar garland in with our pre-lit artificial garland. It gives a nice full look and smells amazing!
We spend a lot of time by the warmth of the fire this time of year. So happy we found those cozy vintage chairs.
I used the same gift boxes under our tree. They are just too good. I think I bought out both QCA Targets! Ha!
Our bookcases also got a little holiday zhushing with some Christmas trinkets we’ve collected over the seasons. Also, an old photo of my Grandpa when he was a kid playing in the snow always makes me smile.

Here’s a little peek at our breakfast nook. I am so excited to make breakfast Christmas morning for the kids!! Having this space and our kitchen renovation almost finished is such a nice feeling.
My little guy was home with an upset tummy from school today, so we declared all day pajama day. He was in good spirits for feeling so rotten. Our banquette is his favorite place to read his books right now.
The Elf on the Shelf is ever popular in our house…again.
I am not doing much decorating in this space besides our family tree that we are going to cut down this weekend. Just a little tinsel tree is all the adornment our little table needs.
